Men’s Bible Study
Redeemer’s Men’s Bible Study group was started in the early 2000’s by a former parishioner who received a call from God to do so. The men meet for coffee, and sometimes a donut or sausage biscuit, throughout the year. The group is “self-directed,” meaning that the members select the books of the Bible to study and take turns leading the weekly sessions. A study guide is purchased by each member.
Each meeting begins with a sharing time where members who wish talk about things for which they are thankful, family cares, and concerns. A member then leads the group in prayer followed by a discussion guided by the leader of the week. The meeting ends about 8:00 a.m.
The membership includes both parishioners and friends from outside the parish with a wide range of ages. They come from many different denominational backgrounds and traditions. All men are welcome to join the group.
In order for all members to participate, the meeting is a hybrid model. We meet in Pinder Hall each Thursday morning at 7:00 am. Others join by Zoom as full participants.
